Backpacking Rocky Mountain National Park

There’s no better way to experience RMNP than from within it’s backcountry.  Spend four days and three nights of this five-day journey hiking, peaking mountains, and camping near crystal clear lakes before settling in for a night at a mountain lodge to close out the adventure.  Days are planned to allow time for hiking, meals, and enjoying your surroundings whether you prefer to do that from behind a camera, the end of a fly rod, or the edge of a lake.  This all inclusive guided adventure includes food from lunch on Thursday through breakfast on Monday, transportation from the YMCA of the Rockies to the trailhead and back to Denver International Airport, group gear, personal equipment (backpack, sleeping bag, ground pad), permits, and lodging on Sunday night.  No experience is necessary, however strenuous hiking carrying a heavy pack in the mountains is required.  Your guide Ben Larson recently completed a Masters in Tourism Management at Colorado State University.  Ben has been leading wilderness backpacking trips for twenty years.  He is a Wilderness First Responder and loves exploring the outdoors with others.
